About the Artist
I am a German abstract artist living in Antwerp, Belgium.
Art has been my passion from an early age, having been raised in an art-loving family. I attended art school in the afternoons since I was 12. After graduating from high school, I was torn between studying arts and law. I chose law school and enjoyed a successful career as a corporate lawyer in Germany. However, when I moved to Australia, I took the opportunity to finally pursue my true calling to be an artist.
Today, I specialise in abstract art, constantly exploring new techniques. My objective is always to achieve aesthetic strength, with a modern, sometimes industrial, style. I am usually drawn to monochromatic designs, staying close to a given color scheme. I use acrylic paint on large or medium size canvases, often integrating spray paint as well.
